Data Architect

One of our Clients located in the Detroit Metro Area is currently searching for a Data Architect for a Contract Opportunity.

 

Duties: Working with some guidance from the Delivery Lead and Enterprise Architect, leads the design and implementation of complex logical data models and practices for data capture, data dictionary design and overall data integrity  Directs quality control and auditing to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data  Works with other subject matter experts to develop data storage strategies to support company needs  Enforces data definition standards, architectures and policies  Administers and manages data definitions within data repository  Designs and provides support of data modeling for mainframe, client server, or web systems development  Maintains data dictionaries and resolves problems  Extensive creativity required across areas of expertise  Consults on a wide spectrum of existing and emerging technologies and associated services and processes  Leads special technical projects  Evaluates compliance with the organization’s technology standards  Guides and consults with IT management and technical staffs regarding use of emerging technologies and associated services  Participates in the evaluation, selection and application of new and emerging tools and techniques

 Requirements:High proficiency level in skills referenced and experience level in Data Modeling required  Must e a salf starter and an excellent facilitator Minimum 8 years related experience preferred  Bachelor’s degree required  Master’s degree in related field preferred Health care experience would be a plus
