DBA II

TradeStation Technologies is seeking an experienced DBA to be responsible for the support and maintenance of database infrastructure and the planning and management of data as a resource

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

§  Assists in supporting data access and administration.

§  Assists in creation of database forms and reports.

§  Contributes to preparation and maintenance of documentation.

§  Writes database programs to provide reports.

§  Provides operational support for database backup and recovery.

 

Requirements:

§  Knowledge of programming through experience and/or formal logic education.

§  Ability to understand and manipulate data structures.

§  Excellent oral and written communication skills.

§  In depth experience with SQL 2005,2000,7.0

§  Programming experience using SSIS.

 

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems and experience (typically 3-5 years) in database administration is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may also serve to meet these minimum requirements.
