DATABASE SPECIALIST

DATABASE SPECIALIST

Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (Grades 9-12), Rumson, New Jersey is seeking a Database Specialist. This 12-month position is primarily responsible for the updating and maintaining of school databases as well the generation of reports.

 

Job Description Specific Responsibilities:

* Provides school with information by designing methods to collect and retrieve data.

* Maintains database by entering data.

* Troubleshoots issues with database(s) by contacting vendor support.

* Identifies school data requirements by establishing personal rapport with members of school community.

* Collects data by identifying sources of information; designs collection methods.

* Prepares reports by collecting and summarizing information.

* Protects operations by keeping information confidential.

* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Commensurate with experience.

The District provides a generous benefits package including health, prescription, dental, and vision plans for employees and their families.  Employees are encouraged to advance their education with reimbursement of up to 12 credits per year (a maximum reimbursement of $4800 per year).  Educational loan opportunities to support this commitment are available.

Children of active employees may attend R-FHRHS free of tuition.
