Responsibilities: Administration of databases, including logical data modeling, physical database design, database creation, database performance monitoring and tuning, database backup and recovery, database security and DBMS software currency. Maintain all MS SQL Server corporate databases.

Requirements:Â Extensive experience as a Data Base Administrator of MS SQLServer (2000, 2005), with responsibility for database design, server setup, database monitoring, backup and restore operations, support of application developers in a Windows environment; experience in Information Technology as a programmer and DBA; proficient with tools used to model, administer and maintain relational databases; solid understanding of conceptual, logical and physical data modeling; strong analytical, communication, and team skills; ability to document complex systems and procedures; ability to work with technical staff as well as business users; and familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle.

Desirable: Familiarity with reporting and data manipulation tools, including MS Access, Crystal Reports, and Excel; experience with creating and maintaining a data warehouse; experience with SQLServer DTS, BCP, reporting and analysis services; experience with clustering, replication and fault tolerance; experience with code change control management, XML, CRM, Order Fulfillment Systems, and .NET.Â
