Customer Support Technician

microDATA, a Vermont-based software solutions company, is seeking various levels of Technical Support to assist our employees and clients.  We are looking for technicians that can provide excellent customer service and also have experience with network administration and internal/external security.

 

Responsibilities:Install and support E9-1-1 software products at client's location  Perform software testingTroubleshoot issues and implement solutions for hardware, network and SoftwareProvide onsite training to clients Must be willing and able to travel by car and air. Evaluate and Recommend internal and external security measures. 

Qualifications: Expert knowledge of Windows 2003 & XP Previous network support experienceExperienced at learning new software easily Excellent communication and documentation skills Detail orientedExperience working with PCs, complex networks and software installations Bachelors Degree required Experience evaluating internal and external network security Ethical Hacker certification preferred; CCNA is a plus
