Customer Support Representative (CSR), San Mateo, CA - USA

Job Description

As a member of our client's global support team, you will be required to supply technical support to the company’s customers, to partners and to internal employees within the company.

The CSR will be expected to acquire a strong understanding of the product to enable him to assist our client’s clients, and other functions within the organization in resolving complex technical issues.

The ideal candidate is a responsible, proactive team player with outstanding technical understanding and experience.

Most of the work will be managed from our client's office in USA. However, from time to time, this person would be required to travel to customers’ premises for technical support activities.

Qualifications

Ø  Computer Science or Information Systems degree – An Advantage

Ø  At least 1 years of experience in technical customer support

Ø  R&D Programming / DBA experience - An advantage

Ø  Good knowledge in most of the following domains:

o   Operating systems (Windows/ UNIX/ Linux) including - installation, administration and configuration.

o   Oracle databasesSQL including T-SQL, PL/SQL

Ø  Good communication and documentation skills

Ø  Ability to work independently with customers and with other departments
