Customer Service/Tech Support Representative

We are a rapidly-growing e-learning company in need of a Customer Service/Tech Support person. Our clients are primarily long-term care providers and are not necessarily familiar or even comfortable with a computer or the internet.

We are looking for someone who…

·         Has a pleasant, friendly style

·         Can convey technical information in a way that non-technical people can clearly understand

·         Is able to remain calm and friendly when handling unpleasant or upset clients

·         Is able to communicate clearly, both in writing and speech

·         Is comfortable speaking to groups of people, either through phone/web conference or in-person

·         Is proficient with Microsoft office and use of the internet

·         Is patient

Duties for this position include…

·         Interfacing with new clients to determine their needs for implementation of our web application

·         Training new clients to use our web application

·         Providing technical support for basic issues over the phone and through email

·         Directing complicated technical support issues to the next level

·         Tracking outstanding technical support issues and follow-up with clients

·         Communicating feedback from clients to management

·         Communicating information on defects to web development team

·         Occasional travel to client sites

Qualifications for this position are….

·         Minimum 2 years experience with customer service, technical support, or as a teacher/trainer.
