Customer Service Representative

We are currently seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives.  Positions are available to work between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 5:30 P.M. or 11:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time, the latter position on either a full or part-time basis.  Please specify your working hour preference with your resume.  This is a telecommuting position. 

 

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:

 

Ø  Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voice mail and e-mail for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking and other computer-related technologies.

Ø  Interview user(s) to collect information about problem and lead use r(s) through diagnostic procedures to determine source of error.

Ø  Determine whether problem is caused by hardware such as connectivity, printer or cables.

Ø  Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to supervisor or technical staff.

Ø  Log and track calls using problem management database and maintain history records and related problem documentation

Ø  Consult with programmers to explain software errors in application.

Ø  Test software and hardware to evaluate resolution of software issues.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Qualified Candidates will posses a minimum of 1-2 years work experience in a Customer Service Center environment.

Minimum High School Diploma.

Effective verbal communications skills.
