Customer & Channel Marketing Manager

InfoVista is a world-leading provider of Service-Centric Performance Management software solutions. InfoVista designs, develops and markets technologically advanced software which monitors, analyses and reports on the performance and quality of service of information technology (IT) infrastructure, including networks, servers and applications.

 

InfoVista is looking for a Customer & Channel Marketing Manager who will be responsible for defining and executing marketing programs that are specifically designed to enhance the quality and breadth of InfoVista’s relationships with its existing customers. The ultimate goal is to create the business case for further investment in both product and services while positioning InfoVista as a “Trusted Partner”.

 

This position will work with the Alliance Directors and Field Marketing Teams to define and execute on the partner marketing strategy worldwide. This will include all partner marketing and co-marketing programs, for Technology Alliances, System Integrators and Resellers.

Duties

Partner marketing:

· Drives the creation of marketing programs for Resellers, Systems Integrators and Technology Alliances with the VP, WW Marketing and Alliance Directors, while ensuring that the marketing component of these programs is in line with corporate objectives and budgets,

· Works closely with field marketing and Alliance Directors to coordinate and manage co-marketing activities as part of the overall partner strategy,

· Develops and deploys out-of-the-box seminars (both web-based and in person) targetting Resellers and Systems Integrators customers and roll them out as part of the co-marketing strategy,

· Develops and deploys the communication strategy towards partners, including program enrollment and execution, designs, develops and issues quarterly newsletters, defines and manages content of the partner portal in tight collaboration with Internet Marketing Manager,

·  Participates in the creation of Technology Alliance programs with the leaders of Product Management and Marketing.

Customer Marketing:

· Defines customer referral & success story program, including resources and budgets.Works with regional sales teams to identify and secure press release/case study targets, evangelize sales reps and process all candidates,

· Owns the creation of, animates and moderates the online user forum, manages the customer portal and drive communication to customer about these tools.

· Organizes customer focus groups targeting appropriate audience and involving required IV participants,

· Organizes and manages user conferences, including defining agendas, choosing and handling suppliers and sub-contractors and leading all marketing activities around such an event,

· Designs and rolls out customer newsletters and other dedicated customer communication programs,

· Collaborates with regional database manager to define and run programs aiming at keeping the customer database (stored in SalesForce.com) comprehensive and up-to-date.

 

Skills, know-how, technologies

Required

· Successful experience and proven track record in defining and executing partner programs specifically developed for System Integrators, software and hardware resellers and Alliances,

· Successful experience in developing and rolling out customer marketing programs,

· Full ability to work, write and undertake discussions in English,

· Strong interpersonal relationship skills,

· Significant experience in leading and/or working in virtual project teams,

· Understanding of IT technologies.

Desired

· Ability to engage and deal with C-level partner and customer executives,

· Broad marketing experience, encompassing corporate communication and

· Experience as a first level manager in a marketing team,

· Excellent English writing skills, mastering various medias (brochures, web, etc…)

· Ability to work and write in French

· Good knowledge of CRM applications

· Hand-on as well as a the capability to think strategically, to plan and design programs

A plus

· Mastering data input and import, report creation, data quality enhancement programs in SalesForce.com

Qualification & Experience

· 5 to 8 year plus in partner marketing and/or customer marketing positions, in the IT or telecom industry

· College degree in Marketing or equivalent
