Crystal Report Developer

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

 

 Looking for a qualified Crystal Reports Developer to create, support, and enhance Crystal Reports for the Remedy application. The team is responsible for developing reporting solutions that support the Remedy application.

 



DAY-TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

 

 

 

The ideal candidate will have experience developing reports for Remedy. He/She must have expertise in different business areas and application wide analysis and will be required to perform feasibility analysis, scope report requirements, recommend alternative solutions, and prioritize deliverables.

 



REQUIRED SKILLS INVENTORY

 

 

 

• 3-5+ years of Crystal Reports (v9 and XI) development experience
• Database structure, data mining, and data analysis experience
• Ability to effectively translate business requirements into Crystal reports
• Experience acting as lead report developer on application implementations
• Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and ITIL processes
• Working knowledge of ITSM Applications (e.g. BMC Remedy, HP ITSM, FrontRange)
• Well organized, works effectively with minimal direction, able to work with various technical teams and business partners of all levels
• Ability to manage several projects and/or development requests at once
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Well organized, works effectively with minimal direction and has the capacity to multitask

DESIRED SKILLS

• Remedy 6.3 and 7 report development experience a plus
** ITIL certification is preferred.

 



TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

 

Other than above they run Oracle DB, some Sybase and Unix
