Credit/Collect Specialist

Description:Job Summary:Analyze potential and existing customers financial data to insure credit integrity. Release orders from Credit Hold as required. Escalate issues to sales and/or external customers to bring resolution. Understand and communicate the NetApp credit policy to internal and external customers.Education and Experience:BA/BS or relevant discipline. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience 2+ Years of Fortune 1000 customer portfolio managementPrevious industry training in AR and/or Credit ManagementQualifications:Requirements:oReview monthly APAC collection forecast prior to submission to the US with the countries oMonitor progress of monthly APAC collections and where needed facilitate corrective action (e.g. Early Payment Discount) oDo a end of month forecast/actual Collections review with the countries and report on variances oMake sure all deals comply with C&C policies and procedures oAPAC focal point for Customers, Sales and order management issues within APAC, related to Credit and Collection issues.oReview current credit rating process in APAC and recommend improvements (so that we do it before a PO is received and not after) oAPAC HRCL owner - monitor and suggest actions (like write-off if it has been on the list for a long time) oMonitor credit rating of Resellers and depending on payment history etc. make rating adjustments (could be up or down) oCollections for complex customers of APAC and Resellers oPrevious collections experience with customers in various countries in Asia preferredoCommercial leasing experience preferredEssential Functions/Skill sets:Oracle 11iFinancial statement analysisExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA/R experience related to cash collections and reconciliations.Possess advanced mathematical and analytical skills Must be detail orientedAbility to speak and read English fluentlySalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceTo learn more about NetApp employee benefits go to: http://www.netapp.com/jobs/benefits.htmlJob Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong Special Administrative RegionJob Number: RUSANAP2218-610366Company URL: http://www.netapp.comCompany Profile:NetApp creates innovative storage and data management solutions that help accelerate business breakthroughs and deliver outstanding cost efficiency.
