The ideal candidate will be an energetic, creative and self-motivated copywriter with exceptional writing and communications skills. The Senior Copywriter will be responsible for authoring and editing all copy for www.bigfishgames.com, as well any advertising, public relations, direct marketing campaigns or other promotional activities that originate from Big Fish Games. The Senior Copywriter will work closely with the design team to ensure the Big Fish Games’ brand is represented properly, and will work cross-divisionally to write copy for various stakeholders within the company.

Your role:Work closely with the Marketing Director to build brand equity and enhance the corporate identity of Big Fish Games by authoring innovative and compelling copy Develop copy for all online, email, direct mail, print, collateral and tradeshow pieces Work with marketing managers and brand managers to author marketing materials and collateral such as tradeshow materials, sales brochures, web sites, direct mail pieces and press releases Assist Big Fish Games Studios with copywriting content for in-game content and game-specific promotional elements Participate in concept development, style guide ownership and brainstorming with art designers Support the marketing team by editing copy written by other business stakeholders Concept and define a consistent voice and writing style for Big Fish Games Ensure all marketing efforts, corporate communications and games conform to the Big Fish Games’ voice Assist all internal clients of the marketing team with copywriting needs

Skills, attributes and experience you should bring to the table:Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, communications, creative writing or related fields 5+ years related copywriting experience Exceptional writing skills for editing news releases, web content, marketing collateral, game content and newsletters Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within online marketing and the internet retail industry Experience with online marketing and/or online entertainment environments strongly desired Solid understanding of brand strategy and its relationship to a consistent copywriting voice Savvy business skills and the ability to zero in on a client’s needs and provide consistently creative solutions that generate response Polished creative skills and innovative approaches to writing and copy development Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage several projects at once Strong desire to be part of a successful team and grow professionally Sense of humor, a love of games and the ability to have fun at work Demonstrated capacity for original thinking and independent initiative Unforgettable and dazzling writing samples
