Winnipeg Shared Services is currently seeking candidates for the position of Coordinator, Finance Support. This position will work as a team member to support Winnipeg Shared Services utilization of technology in it's effort to improve efficiency, and during the transition to the new accounting system, SAP. The primary focus will be with MS Excel spreadsheets using VBA to facilitate automation.



Accountabilities:

- Develops spreadsheet automation using VBA in Excel

- Works within the support team to ensure standards are implemented in all projects, and the end user has the tools necessary

- Takes an assertive role in the identification and implementation of process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency

-Strong working knowledge with Excel/Word/Outlook and other MS Office applications working in a Windows XP environment

- Proficient in the use of VBA within MS Office, with the understanding of the strengths and weaknesses with VBA



Please note this is a 12 month contract position



Job Qualifications:

- Accounting knowledge is an asset

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team environment

- Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi task daily activities in a fast paced environment

- Ability to complete tasks within deadlines under minimal supervision
