For our Communications Service Provider (CSP) Business located at Tarrytown, New York, we are looking to hire a Controller-Finance.


Job Description:

· Primary finance support to CSP Business Unit head.

· Functional reporting to Corporate Finance personnel. 

· Responsible for reviewing/ accurately reporting monthly actuals.

· Submission of monthly forecast. 

· Camparison and narrative analysis of actual vs. forecast.

· Development of local finance systems to support business unit and external reporting requirements.

· Integrate local financial and business unit financial data into single reporting system.

· Local tax reporting such as sales and use/ other local tax support and compliance.

· Public company reporting processes and inter company accounting.

· Financial process analysis and automation.

· Interface with external auditors during annual/ interim audit. Meticulous and detailed support of revenue recognition and related deferred revenue.


Must Have:

· Strong knowledge in software revenue recognition (i.e. SOP 97-2, % of completion for Fixed price contracts)

· BA/BS in accounting

· Prior experience (preferably in a public company) with internal management and external reporting. Ideally, this would be in an international company environment.

· About 5 years experience in related role with experience in the above mentioned areas.

· Willingness and ability to commit to strict reporting deadlines.

· Excellent communications skills.
