FortressITX is presently accepting applications for a Controller position to join our team and compliment our existing staff as our company grows. The ideal candidate will be a hands on controller responsible for accounting, budgeting, cash management, and banking relations. Will also supervise invoicing and accounts payable functions.

Customers rely on FortressITX to provide reliable, secure and value rich services such as dedicated, e-commerce, application, reseller and collocation hosting for their business. We are an established datacenter with a proven record of success currently undergoing a large expansion of our existing facility.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Prepares the monthly financial statements.

· Prepares cashflow forecasts.

· Prepares business cases for expansions, capital expenditures and financing.

· Establishes and monitors the company goals and progress.

· Prepares an annual budget in coordination with pertinent management.

· Supervises the invoicing function.

· Performs the accounts payable function.

· Reviews, on a continuous basis, the general business climate for the company to develop new business opportunities, ensure excellent customer service, expand business and maintain existing relationships with vendors.

· Develops and implements policies and procedures designed to promote company philosophy within and outside the company, and to build a company image.

· Controls the process of attaining higher company productivity by analyzing organizational structure and systems, identifying resources (staff, equipment, funds) required, and communicating with pertinent department managers on the supporting strategies and needs involving company strategies.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Education/Experience:B.S. in accountingAt least 3 years of controller experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong cash management and banking relationship experience. Strong Excel and Quickbooks experience
