Contractor for Linux port
Location: Job location not provided Position Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project The contractor will be working on our product that is composed of a set of administration, configuration and deployment tools to manage our system. It is part of the our product offering, a highly scalable carrier-class service and network performance management system. The contractor will port the DataMart applications, the build procedures and the installer to Linux RedHat 5.0. The contractor will also be working on designing and implementing an automated unit framework for our applications on Linux. Skill description and proficiency level (1-5 1 meaning no experience and 5 meaning expert): • TCL/TK: 8.4, C/C++, java - Level : 4 • Gmake skills - Level : 4 • Scripting skills (Shell and PERL) - Level : 4 • Linux skills - Level : 4 • RedHat 5.0 - Level : 4 • Oracle 8i, 9i - Level : 3 • Strong problem-solving skills - Level : 5 • Multiplatform application porting knowledge - Level : 4 • Knowledge of the SNMP protocol - Level : 3 • Bachelors degree or equivalent • Experience in porting software products to Linux Company: Core I.T.
