Contract Spanish Game Tester

We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated Spanish Game Tester to join the Game Operations Team. Big Fish Games is responsible for producing both internally developed and third party games for our online gaming portal as well as larger titles for sale directly to the consumer.

As a Spanish Game Tester, you will be responsible for working directly with Spanish Game Operations Coordinator in a rapidly changing environment to ensure the quality of a large volume of new PC and Macintosh titles for our Spanish web portal http://www.bigfishgames.es . We’re looking for someone who shares a deep interest in languages and Big Fish Games products. What you’ll be doing:Work in a fun, fast paced environment Perform configuration, localization and language testing on testing a variety of games Ensure coding reflects game play

Skills and experience you should bring to the table:Associates degree required, and Bachelor’s degree preferred Fluency in English and Spanish (Native Tongue preferred) 1+ years testing experience on PC and Mac platforms Ability to maintain multiple projects at once with short release cycles Basic understanding of the development cycle of a game project Basic knowledge of the casual games market Experience working with Java, Flash and/or Director Games a plus Strong communication skills Must be able to work independently at times Excellent computer skills and MS Office knowledge Team player Positive attitude
