Selerant’s core product is PLM package named DevEX®. DevEX® is a web based, enterprise wide ASP.NET application. Key features include:

·         Packaging design and specification management.

·         Integration capabilities with ERP systems (such as Oracle and SAP).

Description:

The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic, goal-driven, and motivated individual, willing to work in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. The candidate must be a ‘self-starter’ and be willing to work with minimal direction. Depending on location, the candidate will work primarily at a client site with trips to the office, remotely with trips to the office, or work in the office during business hours. The candidate will perform, and assist in the deployment of Selerant’s solutions for its clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop, document, and test C#/.NET applications as part of overall DevEX solution.

·         Configure and customize Selerant solutions in line with requirements.

·         Define and document business processes, identify solution gaps, and identify creative solutions.

·         Serve are primary technical and application contact at various Selerant’s client sites.

·         Manage relationships at various levels of client and project organization.

Requirements:

·         2 to 5 years experience consulting to clients and building applications using modern development environments (C#, JAVA, C++, other .NET languages).

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills.

·         Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

·         Team player; ability to work with cross-functional teams.

·         Strong personal motivation and excellent work ethic and attitude.

·         Experience with product development and/or supply chain in the food, beverage, chemical, or other process centric industries desirable.

·         Candidate will be serving Selerant customers in the Chicago area, but ability to travel is required; Periods of travel can be 20- 80%.

·         Related college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Locations:

Hiring region is the Midwest. The greater Chicago area is preferred.
