Interacts with the customer to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context and organizational strategic direction. Defines scope, plans and deliverables for assigned projects. Collects, identifies, defines, and organizes detailed user and information technology requirements. Coordinates and collaborates with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations. Confirms and prioritizes project plans and deliverables with the customer. Participates in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions. Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify and resolve business and/or technical problems. Applies metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria. Prepares system documentation. Establishes and maintains security, integrity and business continuity controls and documents. Participates in special studies, marketing efforts and formal proposals. Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies. Job Essential Functions:34200 - Configuration Coordinator Information Analyst: *  Ability to design, code, test, implement and validate business, and technical information technology related programs. * Ability to identify, analyze, and devise solutions to business and technical information technology problems. * Ability to interact with customers regarding business and technical information technology needs. * Ability to participate in implementations, upgrades, and conversion projects. * Ability to participate on empowered, virtual teams. * Ability to manage projects within scope of responsibility. * Ability to work flexible hours.Position Prerequisites: Configuration Coordinator Required Skills/Knowledge:  *  Experience in configuration management and the Borland® Starteam configuration tool *  Ability to adapt to change rapidly on a fast learning curve. *  Able to adapt well in a multi-platform development environment. *  Desired skills/knowledge: *  Familiar with IEEE 828-1998 standard for software configuration management plans, IEEE 12207 standard for information technology life cycle processes, configuration management processes. *  Familiar with Apache Ant 1.5.4, JAR, EAR, WAR familiar in deploying in a was container environment.
