General Responsibilities:

 

- Will be responsible for the development & documentation of technical designs, including data models & cube design for cube development using the Cognos toolset

- Provide technical expertise on all Cognos related matters, including administration of Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Powerplay, Visualizer, Frame Work Manager, etc.

- Assist with the creation of metadata models using Framework Manager

- Troubleshoot and improve performance of Cognos reports

- Design and create complex framework manager models

- Perform other tasks that support the success of the project

 



Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related area of study

- 3-5 years of experience with Cognos reporting tool suite (ReportNet, Framework Manager, Impromptu, etc.)

- Experience with SQL & Oracle experience preferred

- Complete and thorough experience in Cognos applications administration, implementation and migration

- Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) Concepts

- Data Warehouse design and development methodologies knowledge and experience

- Must work well in a collaborative, team environment and independently

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Knowledge of standard project development life cycle concepts
