Location: Austin, TX 73301 Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Expected Duration: 2+ to 5 Years Reference Code: 1001144043 Client Manager Staff Software Engineer Job Description This is a senior design position in the ProxySG software team based in Austin, TX. You will work on new features and enhancements for the ProxySG supporting Acceleration and Web Security solutions for the Enterprise market, as well as supporting current features and customers. You will develop C++ software on a high performance embedded OS using GNU tools in a Windows and Linux environment. You will be required to be involved in or take ownership of the functional specification of features and drive them to completion through design, implementation and delivery. You will be responsible for the quality and timely execution of full product lifestyle from product requirements to customer delivery and ongoing support. You must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. The ability to communicate with other designers and functional groups is highly important. Some travel will be required. Required Skills Relevant hands on C++ Knowledge of realtime embedded OS (VxWorks, QNX, pSOS or similar) semaphores mutexes, critical sections message queues Familiarity with object oriented design Excellent written and oral communications skills Proven track record of product/feature delivery Required Experience BS Comp Sc., EE or equivalent Minimum 5 years relevant work experience preferable in Internet Security or Web based systems.
