Develop the company’s high tech industry vision and strategy * Anticipate and react to major technology and market changes to maintain company leadership in the competitive landscape within the high tech industry * Work with business unit teams to drive product roadmaps to meet the needs of our high tech industry customers * Build partnerships and external relationships with key high tech industry partners * Make buy/build and insource/outsource decisions for fast, efficient product development to increase market share and industry relevance * Engage the high tech industry as Akamai’s thought-leader and spokesperson Basic Qualifications * Education: Master’s degree in business * Overall Experience: 7-10 years or equivalent experience Desired Qualifications * Requires a thorough understanding of software download technologies including client assisted/peer-to-peer solutions, application acceleration technologies and B2B ecosystems including PLM and digital vendor-to-supplier interactions. * Strong knowledge of the high tech industry, and the ecosystem of companies which leverage the Internet as a major means of commerce and operations. * Situational fluency, ability to influence and motivate others, and perseverance to handle challenging business situations * Ability to gather data from the market and customers to analytically determine go-to-market priorities * Desire for on-going challenges and interest in continuously learning about new Internet technologies * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad range of technical and business audiences * Must be a team player Contact us!
