Job Description: Responsible for identifying, qualifying, leading, negotiating and closing sales pursuits through indirect sales channels such as OEM’s, VARs, etc. Develop comprehensive territory and new account pursuit plans to identify and qualify sales opportunities with both existing, and especially new logo, clients. Leverage knowledge and expertise ofthe local market as well as relationships with key business contacts. Must work closely with OEM’s, VARS, etc. to execute their territories and account plans. In some cases it is required that they work with other client sales executives from the geographies to identify, qualify and close sales opportunities. This individual is responsible for utilizing the Siemens PLM sales methodology, sales forecasting, and other account planning as directed by Siemens PLM management. Essential to the Siemens PLM methodology is the ability to develop and/or link to customer objectives with Siemens PLM solutions that secure the client's strategic objectives. Maintain an in-depth understanding of thepolitical and organizational structure of a targeted prospect and the current competitive landscape. Leverage existing accounts to drive new revenue for expanded footprint of other Siemens PLM products. Responsible for generating revenue through indirect sales channels such as OEM’s, VARS, etc. Serves as liaison to channel partners with regards to any sales related services and support issues. Generally responsible for complex sales requiring intermediate product and industry knowledge. Assists management in devising plans andstrategies to support selling to channels. Prerequisites and Essential Functions: 4+ years of channel sales executive experience at a tier 1 or 2 competitor selling new logo expansion business. Experience in a high volume customer contact environment. If internal, prior experience in a channel sales executive, client executive, client delivery executive, business development or similar role.4+ years of information technology solutions knowledge.Demonstrable track record of success against assigned quotas.
