Assesses the nature of customer problems, resolves simple and basic support issues and escalates more complex issues to appropriate technical customer support specialists. Consultant will have direct contact with client’s technical and administrative personnel in warehousing and transportation settings. Consultant must possess or gain functional knowledge of most product lines with specific expertise in application of basic problem-solving techniques on, but not limited to, System i, Open Systems, UNIX, and Windows Platforms.Position Requirements:? BS or BA degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent field is required? Must be able to work a 24/7 schedule, including various shifts, and holidays? Provides the first line of communication with clients via telephone and/or email in a ‘Help Desk’ setting. Responsible for answering all incoming calls, recording essential administrative or technical information, and answering basic questions about Manhattan Associates’ products. Must understand database design and structure and client server platforms. ? Will manage issues of varying importance from multiple clients. Must be able to use basic problem-solving skills to determine scope of problems and/or questions while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical staff.? Performs administrative support functions to include tracking client issues via CRM and applying appropriate resources to solve them. ?
