C# Developer

McIntosh Search is a Dallas based IT placement firm.  We specialize in permanent and contract roles with Dallas based clients.  The following requirement is a permanent role with a client located minutes from downtown.  This position offers a competitive salary and attractive benefits package.  At this time our client is unable to sponsor and is not considering out of area candidates.  If you are in the process of relocating to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, please note this during submission. 

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Write code or perform technical implementation work as a contributor in accordance with project plans and deadlines Work independently to architect and design solutions based on requirements documents and/or other requirements input Use of best practices in design, configuration, and coding techniques Consistently estimates accurate timelines for tasks and executes according to estimate Consistently performs appropriate unit testing to ensure deliverables are reasonably free of defects Effectively utilizes Microsoft Solutions Framework and SDLC principles Stays abreast of  latest technology changes within the relevant technology Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor

 

REQUIREMENTS A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or a similar field, is required. 3 + years of experience of C# and .Net Framework 3 +years of experience of ASP.NET and the underlying architecture 5 + years of SQL Server 2000, including stored procedures, performance tuning, maintenance plans, DTW packages, Disk I/O considerations, etc. 2 years of Microsoft Access-based solutions 2 years Microsoft Project and Project Server 2 years Technical Architecture/Design Expertise
