DepartmentPurchasingThe Team: The constant need for equipment, supplies, and services is ever increasing at ESRI, making a role on the purchasing team fast-paced and challenging. Staff members process more than 12,000 purchase orders each year and negotiate terms and conditions with more than 100 vendors each month. Great communication skills and excellent negotiation abilities are some of the qualities we look for in future team members.ResponsibilitiesProcure indirect materials, supplies, services, and equipment as required.Resolve supplier issues/concerns.Generate cost savings via negotiating, securing alternate source/product, or implementing process alternatives.Maintain positive, effective relationships with suppliers and internal customers.Resolve A/P invoice issues related to purchases.Accurately and promptly reconcile assigned credit card accounts.Effectively prioritize workload to achieve optimum efficiencies.RequirementsBachelors in business or related field.Detail-oriented team player with negotiating ability or related experience.Superior customer service skills, excellent organization skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.Good math and problem-solving skills.Ability to establish priorities and work with minimal supervision.Recommended QualificationsPrevious experience in purchasing, contract processing, or related discipline.The Company:Since 1969, ESRI has been giving customers around the world the power to think and plan geographically.
