Business Systems Analyst - A1262A - Direct Financial client - Contract

The Business Systems Analyst in this position will provide functional support for various applications used within the Market Data Department.  This role will be the main liaison between business users and technical teams to:
 
- Identify, analyze, and gather business requirements. Create high level functional design. 
- Develop project proposals, Use Case development and analysis. 
- Develop and execute test plans with the QA resource.
- Provide support to Project Manager to ensure projects meet required timelines and deliverables.
- Facilitate meetings and communication with users and technical associates 
- Ability to Prototype using  XHTML/CSS

Qualifications 
- The ability to create a positive and professional business relationships with business and technology.
- Excellent follow through and initiative. Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understand.
- Ability to present ideas and information in group settings.
- Facilitate group discussion and build consensus. 
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in requirements gathering and development.
- Proficient in developing Use Cases. 
- Knowledge of the full software development life cycle.
- Familiarity with relational database design.
- Minimum 4 years experience in business/systems analysis

 
Technical Skills: 
- Familiarity with Word, Visio, Excel and/or MS project 
- Data Analysis
