Position:  Business Objects Architect

Location:  Arlington, VA

 

Clearance:  Interim Secret or US Citizen with Ability to Receive Secret Clearance

 

Description: 

Senior Business Intelligence Architect with deep hands-on experience with the Business Objects product stack is needed to develop a Business Intelligence Center of Excellence. Duties will include both technical and business leadership in establishing the BO technical infrastructure as well as establishing best practices, standardized BI project lifecycle, governance, and end-user support structure. Candidate must work with both technical and business community to assess organizational readiness for BI and developing a BI project portfolio.

Required Experience:

·  Extensive hands-on experience with Business Objects stack including BO Enterprise XI, Xcelsius, Web Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence, Predictive Workbench, Metadata Management, Data Integrator, and others

·  Experience with additional business intelligence tool stacks from Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, SAS and others

·  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·  Strong leadership skills

·  10+ years in IT; 5+ year in DW/BI

Desired Experience:

·  Oracle and SQL Server database experience

·  BO interfaces implemented through Microsoft Office SharePoint  Services

 

Education:  BA/BS in technical field (will consider experience in place of degree)

Duration:  Contract is 4 years. Duration of position depends on success of COE.

Salary:  120K+
