Business Analyst / Technical Writer

Trigyn has an exciting opportunity for a contractor to work for United Nations at Manhattan, NY on a long term assignment.


Client would prefer local candidates, as in person interview will be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:Minimum 2 -5 years in hand experience as Technical Writer (must). Document and analyze business workflows and processes. Prepare functional specifications. Perform assessments on processes and systems. Perform Data modeling Experience with conducting JAD / RAD sessions. Prepare design document for a new/changed system, using charts and diagrams. Determine the feasibility of a system solution and to identify appropriate solutions. Performs project coordination as required Prepare acceptance test plan as directed. Analyze data flows and technical requirements to define a network strategy. Analyze the components of operational systems to optimize performance. Prepare detailed documentation, statistical and management reports, and operational procedures.

Qualifications: Must have the capability of working independently. Must have experience managing projects. Sound English communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to handle several cases simultaneously and to balance competing priorities Ability to work in an organized and logical manner; Ability to work well under pressure; Good organization and interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a diverse team. Expertise in structured analysis, data modeling, information engineering, BPR Conceptualize; think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Experience in determining the impact of application systems on organizations. Team leadership capabilities. Strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Ability to manage projects and approach tasks in a structured and systematic manner.
