Successful applicants will have 3+ years of strong customer messaging communication, analysis and design experience – preferably in a corporate EDI team. Additionally, applicant should have experience with the following file formats: EDI, Flat File, and XML. The eBusiness team is my clients messaging authority for trading partner integration. We provide a full suite of electronic data exchange solutions including message management, transformation, routing, security and monitoring. Our goal is to provide solutions that minimize manual effort, reduce total operational costs, and increase the speed of my clients worldwide logistics operations. You will work in a demanding and exciting environment that is creative, detail oriented, and absolutely vital to the success and strength of the company. • Gather requirements (specs, sample data, communication details) for customer connectivity solutions• Perform analysis on client specifications and make recommendations that affect critical business initiatives for branches and customers• Create solution design project and process documents; work with EDI developers who will build your design solutions• Work with customers, branches and EDI developers on validation of test data• Review operational end-user instruction documents produced by developers • Track projects by keeping current status, comments and time tracking in request tracking tool• 3+ years of development experience in Information Technology with in-depth experience in business analysis and EDI• Experience in documenting and delivering high quality, enterprise level solutions in a timely manner.• Be a self-started with demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across our customers, branch network, developers, and internal IT teammates.• Ability and willingness to quickly learn new enterprise custom applications.• Experience working with file formats such as EDI, Flat File, and XML.• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Visio. • Proactive attitude and excellent problem solving skills.• Experience creating and validating test plans preferred but not required.• Knowledge of SQL preferred but not required.• Knowledge of Sterling Gentran Integration Suite preferred but not requiredQualified LOCAL candidates respond with WORD.DOC RESUMES ONLY to: dhf@vermilliongroup.com or call David Fink at 800-203-0705 x 104 David Fink, CSAM is recognized as one of the top Information Technology recruitment specialists in the country.
