Associate Software Engineer - User Interface

Our Business unit is seeking an eager, entry level programmer to
/> develop both front and back end components for our cluster and

/> storage systems
management tools. The primary
responsibility of this position is
developing
useable
management interfaces and supporting code modules that
diminish

the burden of complexity facing administrators of computing
clusters
and
virtualized storage devices. The position
is in our Westford,
Massachusetts
office.


The ideal candidate must have at least a Bachelors degree in

Computer Science
and be aquainted with basic software
development practice including

requirements gathering,
specification planning and writing, and
release/deployment.
Experience with object oriented design and
development
is
a plus, as is familiarity with event-driven code architecture.

Preferred
Candidates will have hands-on knowledge of linux
development tools
such as
shell knowledge, command line
tools, automake and RPM.

Job Requirements:
Strongly desired but not necessary:
* Python development
experience
* Web development experience
* Knowledge of Clusters and Clustered File Systems
* Experience using
virtualized storage tools, such as LVM
* Understanding of Xen,
KVM, VMWare, and their role in the
Enterprise.
