Associate Quality Engineer (SilkTest, Python)

Overview:We are currently seeking driven and talented Associate Quality Engineers who thrive on pushing the limits of technology for our X_TRADER® product team. The X_TRADER® Software Quality Engineering team is responsible for proving the quality and functionality for TT’s flagship product, X_TRADER®, via manual and automated testing. TT’s X_TRADER® platform is the front-end screen of choice for professional derivatives traders around the world. An ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, knowledge and interest in the financial markets and a basic to intermediate technical background. Responsibilities:·  Test front-end trading platform using both manual test scripts in Quality Center (Test Director) as well as automated test scripts in Silk Test.  ·  Responsible for reporting defects to development and testing fixes implemented by development. ·  Design and develop test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical understanding of product architecture.·  Strive for automation, working closely with automated test developers.·  Run regressions, load test, and system tests for new product releases.·  Assist in reproducing, investigating and debugging software issues in coordination with Support and Development.·  Work in MS Excel and scripting languages to run automated tests.·  Write documentation to describe program evaluation, testing and correction. Requirements:·  1+ years of Software Quality Engineering experience.·  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.·  Trading Industry experience or Futures knowledge a strong plus. ·  Knowledge in MS Excel, VBA, Silk Test, Python or other scripting languages a plus. TT is committed to providing an environment where highly talented, challenge-hungry people thrive.
