Associate Quality Engineer
As an Associate Quality Engineer you will perform testing tasks to assure that Authoria products meet specifications and are within quality management limits and standards. Much of your time will be spent executing functional, application and regression tests and documenting those results in an Agile Project Management system. You will verify fixed defects and follow through with development or product management as needed. Additionally, you will develop, document and execute test cases for new software releases or features under the direction of more senior analysts.
The ideal candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or a related area, with at least one year of experience working in a product development, research and testing role. Other qualifications include: detail oriented with a passion for troubleshooting issues; experience at writing, executing and validating test cases; basic database knowledge including queries using Oracle; excellent communication and organizational skills; experience working in a team environment with a diverse group of individuals – experience working with multi-site teams a plus.
Experience with Quick Test Pro, Linux, Tomcat and IIS WebServer a plus. Experience with Agile methodology environment also a plus.
