Our Finance team is growing and we are looking for the best and brightest to join our team. As the Assistant Controller, you will be the primary liaison between BFG and the banks. This is a new role within our Finance team and will report directly to the Controller. 

Areas of responsibility and ownership will include:Review weekly AP check runsReview expense reports and credit card charges/ policiesMonitor cash levels, cash reconciliation, etc.Approve wires, royalty and affiliate paymentsProcess higher dollar amount/ foreign currency wires (i.e. 401K payment, credit card, royalties, etc.)Review and provide analysis (ops reports, etc.) on month end financialsProcess state and local tax returnsMaintain stock option accounting in Equity EdgeOther special projects as assigned

 

Skills, attributes and qualifications you should bring to the table:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred5-7 years progressive experienceStrong computer skills (esp. Excel) requiredSEC reporting desiredAbility to prioritize work load and juggle multiple tasks simultaneouslyOutgoing personality, ability to interface at all levels of the companyTeam player, strong communication skills and ability to work in an ever-changing environment
