Applications Engineer IV-PeopleSoft Lead FIN Developer
ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
The PeopleSoft Lead FIN Developer will serve as a project leader, business analyst, technical developer and primary liaison between the Information Services and all functional Finance end-user groups including General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Budgeting, Asset Management and Accounting Management. The correct candidate will also serve as second-tier support for all Supply Chain Management teams. This development position will be responsible for technical project planning including requirement gathering, project plan creation, determining project priorities, assigning programming tasks, supervising activities of assigned team members, maintaining timelines, providing guidance on the future direction of the PeopleSoft application, as well as any necessary third-party products.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
A bachelors degree, preferably in computer science or business, or equivalent training and applied experience.
10 years of progressively-responsible programming experience performing design, analysis, development, implementation, integration and maintenance of on-line and batch data processing systems
10 years of technical experience with PeopleSoft Financial and Supply Chain Management Suite of products including GL, AP, AM, Procurement, Distribution software version 8.x. Any 9.x experience is preferable.
5 years of technical experience using PeopleSoft application development tools such as PeopleCode, PeopleTools, SQR, Query, and Query manager.
Working knowledge of Oracle 10

Ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Good time management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with internal customers, vendors and managers through the organization.
Candidate should also have a very customer service focus with excellent communication skills
