Duties:
The Analyst Programmer Lead serves in a leadership role on the development team responsible for supporting Georgia State University's Student Information Systems. This is a hands-on software development position involving significant project management and business systems analysis responsibility in addition to programming. Also serves in a coaching/mentoring role with junior staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience; or combination of education and experience.
Successful candidates will have: Strong leadership skills 5+ years software development experience Successful track record managing customer relationships Oracle 9i, 10g SQL, PL/SQL PL/SQL Web Development Toolkit, Oracle Forms Unix shell scripting HTML, XML/XLST, HTTP Experience implementing and supporting enterprise portal technology Experience supporting a major ERP system Strong project management skills Solid business analysis experience Strong work ethic
Preferred Experience: Sungard Luminus Portal Sungard HE Banner ERP Experience with the entire software development lifecycle Strong Planning and organizational skills Sound analysis, problem solving, and decision making skills Knowledge of and experience with business processes within higher education specifically those involving the enrollment management functions C/C++ and/or Pro*C Web service (XML, WSDL, UDDI) Adobe Flex Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE) framework Java Eclipse platform Services oriented architecture (SOA)
