Role Description:
The Application Support Analyst is an integral part of a small team and will be called upon to support customers in a variety of ways. The primary focus will be to provide support for our proprietary data delivery website and is heavily involved in solving complex client issues that are data or application related. It does not involve fielding calls directly from users. This position gives the employee a broad view of our data and systems and the ability to learn the structure of our internal data warehouse and the product-specific data mart.
Other responsibilities include:
· Ensuring reports are processed correctly and on a timely manner.
· Configuration of the technical infrastructure to support client growth, manage client access to the website and the underlying consumer data.
· Investigation and resolution of data and/or application issues, manage release of upgrades, and develop improve the process of tools and utilities to supporting the product. Skills and Experience:
· Experience in system analysis and design
· Expert in SQL development and debug techniques
· Knowledge of Oracle (PL/SQL)
· 2 or more years experience in the full software development lifecycle
· Experience with high volume Data Warehousing applications
· Proficient in UNIX including shell programming
· Bachelor degree preferably in a computer related field
