Access Developer SQL

This is a hands-on software development position and incumbent will be a part of a cross functional team that includes customers, Business Analysts, QA, Configuration Management as well as members of other departments within the company as required.  Excellent opportunity for growth and advancement. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Apply approved software development practices for the development, design, analysis, and unit testing of software products:

• Design and code software solutions required to meet user business requirement specifications

• Comply with source code control, reviews, bug tracking, software development life cycle and all other departmental processes and procedures

• Lead and/or participate in design and code reviews and audits.

• Communicate project task status, design and other related issues.

• Exercise initiative and creativity, recommending changes in procedures or tools as required.

• Update and/or develop documentation for software and/or software development processes and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Minimum 3 years development experience utilizing Microsoft Access

Strong SQL server and T-SQL skills, .NET experience a plus

Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Superior interpersonal and communication skills
