APPLICATION SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Location: Englewood, CO 80111 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Pay Rate: 40.00 - 40.00 USD /hour Contract Length: 4+ monthsPay: 40.00 hourlyLocation: Denver, COExperience Level: 4 year degree plus 5-7 years experience. Description: Works on problems involving the evaluation of specifications for complex business requirements and processes (new, enhancements, maintenance), and develops and prepares computer solutions. Performs and leads modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by preparing test data for trial runs, tests and debugs programs. Participates in the overall systems testing. Supports the implementation of the application into production.Knowledge of Struts, Web Services, JSP, JUnit, Eclipse, Axis, Ant and web application architecture, Experience using SOA technologies such as SOAP, WSDL, XML Schemas, etc,Develop web applications running on Tomcat application server,Experience with Unix based operating systems,OO Design, development & Implementation using Java and open system tools, Experience working with virtual teams,Self-motivated and able to meet tight timelines,Excellent documentation skills,Perferred to have: IVR/CTI experience (with Genesys,Tellme IVR and Nuance speech IVR).This job will involve working on several small J2EE (Java) Application Service projects for our High Value Customer IVR.  The application service is J2EE based and communicates to an external IVR server farm.
