ANSS - Test Sr. Analyst

Description Organization: ANSS / US Delivery Center Location:  San Antonio, TX The San Antonio Delivery Center is part of the Accenture's US Delivery Center organization, which is comprised of six delivery centers that create client value through innovative technology solutions primarily focused in Application Outsourcing, ERP solutions, Information Management Services, and Net Centric solutions.  Our San Antonio Delivery Center employees can expect to: â€¢ work with cutting edge technology• deliver high-quality solutions across multiple industries• work on a variety of projects ranging in both size and scope• receive continuous training and career development The Test Senior Analyst is responsible for the end-to-end testing of both custom and ERP applications in multiple testing phases including component, assembly, and system testing based on project needs. Primary Responsibilities may include: â€¢ Creation and Execution of test scripts• Understanding the high-level context of the business processes and requirements to be met by application designs• Creation of test metric reports• Collaboration with members of teams across the organization• Interaction with developers and execute testing and documentation updates with development resources• Adherence to supported methodology, process and quality guidelines Travel requirements: most work will be completed within the San Antonio Delviery Center.  Depending on the cleint the travel may be required.  Average travel for this type of role is expected to be approximately 40%. Qualifications Basic Qualifications â€¢ 4 year degree required• 3 years of testing experience with WinRunner or QuickTest Pro / LoadRunner / TestDirector suite Preferred Qualifications â€¢ 4 year degree preferably in Computer Science or MIS• 5+ years of Functional Testing Experience with both ERP and custom applications• Experience working with developers to create and execute integration/system test plans and test cases for ERP and Custom Applications • Development,  maintainence and execution experience for automated test cases to support regression testing• Development, maintainence and execution of performance test scripts for ERP and Custom Applications• Experience working closely with the Technology (Database) and Development Teams to evaluate and improve the performance of the applications in all environments to which they are deployed• Develop and maintain scripts to monitor system availability throughout the day and automatically send alerts to appropriate IT support personnel when any system components become unavailable• Coordinate with Project Management to include testing milestones in the project plans  • Perform manual testing where automation does not exist or is not practical.• Work with the Configuration Management and Development groups to include regression test scripts in the automated build and deploy scripts.  To submit resumes online Click Here  These roles require US Citizenship due to Client Clearance requirements.    Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
