10 Java Developers Needed TS/SCI w Poly Will Pay Top Dollar
We have an immediate need for a JAVA Software Engineer in our Annapolis Junction, VA location. Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Tasking and distribution of sigint information. The legacy system that is currently being used is coded in C. New development providing similar functionality is in Java employing JMS, JBOSS, and JDBC to a sybase database. Development uses the eclipse IDE with a CVS configuration control system. This is mostly backend type development with minimal GUI work. The work is done on small teams where individuals may work on multiple teams. These positions are available on either a long term contract or direct hire basis. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with full scope Poly. Rates for this position depend on experience.
