Manage day to day production support activities for technical application support team, including shift rota, on-call schedule, metrics reporting, incident management, service management, etc Problem troubleshooting, root cause analysis and driving both short and long-term solutions Support issue prioritization and escalation Planning, coordination and execution of production deployment of system upgrades and emergency bug fixes Functional testing of the system upgrades, as well as disaster recovery tests Responsible for support of production and non production environments Coordination of Loan test environment for Project related test cycles. Includes batch scheduling and execution, environment configuration, and batch issue troubleshooting. Work with BA's to troubleshoot technical issues with vendor and bring to resolution Provide overnight on-call support on a rotating basis Manage production issues and escalate to management accordingly Work with other team members in the BA, development, QA and testing teams to deliver projects to the business Prepare and execute monthly production software releases Maintain and modify documentation for overall Global Loans Infrastructure, Escalation Procedures and SLA's Ensure hardware installations and upgrades for Unix and Windows 2003 platform are preformed according to plan Coordination Capacity Planning initiatives with the DBA and storage teams Strong knowledge of Windows 2003 and UNIX/Solaris Operating systems Experience with multi-tiered applications.
