Wireless Consultant

 We need a Wireless Engineer/Architect. 

 

SoftNet is an IT Professional Services firm specializing in Infrastructure Services. We have a client, a large scale, heavy equipment manufacturer located in the Decatur, Il.  We need a site survey/design/documentation and methodology, as per description below.  We believe this should take a few weeks but will

lead to extended work and remediation, etc.

Identification of all frequencies in use at our facility and any potential interference with 802.11 wireless network.
Identification of physical obstructions.
Identify and review existing 802.11 wireless coverage in and around the campus.  This include inside the office, shop, and yard areas.
Identify locations that do not have sufficient coverage and propose needed improvements.  The coverage needs to be 'seamless'.
        -Improvements could include addition/removal of access points and antennas.
Development of a wireless design document outlining:
        -Antenna placement coverage area
        -Access Point placement
        -Access Point radio power settings
