Web Projects Manager

Fordham enrolls approximately 15,000 undergraduate and graduate students in its 10 colleges and schools, and the University is on an expansion program across all disciplines. Our IT/Computer Services Group is currently seeking a Web Projects Manager to coordinate and manage web projects and initiatives throughout their lifecycle. Working within an Enterprise Project Management framework, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties: Coordinates and manages web projects and initiatives throughout their lifecycle. Manages project/task lists and formulates time lines for completion. Participates in planning, implementation and maintenance of current and new administrative systems. Provides application-specific assistance to designated departmental liaisons. Interfaces with designated departmental liaisons to review current and future needs. Helps troubleshoot user-related issues. Helps troubleshoot application-related issues. Develops plans for evaluation, implementation, testing and maintenance of functional enhancements. Participates in the development and enforcement of related policies and procedures. Participates in the development of an ongoing training program. Participates in the development and maintenance of user documentation and training materials. Manages integration of data between IRM, Banner system of record and other internal and external systems. Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with the management and staff of Fordham IT. Provides a weekly status report to the Director of Internet Services. Reports on effectiveness of initiatives. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related filed, or 5+ years of solid experience in an IT development environment. Solid analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills are required; experience with Primavera Project Management Software strongly preferred. Knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, CSS, Excel, HTML, CSS, CGI, ASP, JSP, ODBS, IIS and JavaScript is desired. This position requires leadership and project management experience, with an orientation towards customer service. Business knowledge of a Higher Ed administrative software package, such as Sungard HE Banner, is also desirable. We offer a competitive salary and benefits, including tuition remission.
