Web Master
Applications are being accepted from qualified candidates for the position of Web Master in the Information Technology Department of Mid-State Technical College. This is a full-time, 52-week per year position. Position reports to the Vice President of Student Affairs & Information Technology.
START DATE: As Soon As Possible
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Oversee and manage the development, implementation and enhancement of MSTC’s web initiatives. Serve as liaison for sharing and collaborating at the statewide level and facilitate training for end users who wish to utilize the internet as a tool in their classrooms. Ensure ADA compliance & appropriate security, conduct research and develop plans for new technologies to assist in the enhancement and future direction of MSTC web initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, work experience, and/or training in Web design, graphic design, information technology, marketing, or a related field.Experience in the design and management of Web sites required.Experience with/knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web graphics, Flash development, video, database-driven content, JavaScript, ASP, PHP forms, PeopleSoft Portal, Microsoft SharePoint and Macromedia Dreamweaver required.Must possess excellent project management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn college-specific software applications and computer programs.Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers.Must embrace MSTC’s “core values” of student centeredness, commitment, accountability, respect, integrity, and exceptional service.
