Web Development Project Manager

Modis in Orange County is looking for a dynamic, results-oriented individual to fill the postion of a Web Development Project Manager. QUALIFICATIONS Requires 10 years of global information technology and 6-8 years of business experience in managing enterprise class web applications using the .Net framework. Ability to interface with business managers at all levels to ensure that customer requirements and satisfaction are obtained.  Ability to partner with the business by conceptualizing supportive web technologies and implement resulting technical strategies that enable business tactics, or automate business processes.  Ability to collaborate with business regarding application of best practice web design conventions and standards.  Demonstrates ability to keep abreast with applicable standards and emerging technologies through participation in industry groups and networks.  Ability to design a framework for web application integration through collaboration and evaluation of technologies based on business requirements.  Experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously while overseeing all aspects of design, development and deployment.  Prioritize global departmental goals, policies, procedures and projects. Ability to create and implement departmental human resource programs to support company goals. Requires extensive knowledge and experience assisting, developing and managing business and technical internet strategies.  Requires diversity in technology and business experience including client/server, data warehousing, decision support and executive information systems; ERP, CRM, SFA and HR applications in a global environment. Requires excellent analytical, problem solving, oral, telephone, and written communication skills. Prefer a B.A./B.S. in CS/CIS/IS/MIS/Business or related field or equivalent with experience. Technical Qualifications: • Prior experience in developing and managing within .Net web application environments, including VB.net, ASP.Net, C#, ADO.Net, LINQ, AJAX, HTM/XHTML, XML, JavaScript, and SQL programming. • Experience in J2EE web development desirable. • Experience with VSTS 2008, .NET 3.5 WCF, WF, LINQ and other .NET 3.5 technologies is highly desirable. • Should have experience in implementing distributed architectures, involving web services and remoting using .NET, or alternative J2EE approaches. • Have an understanding of Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) principles and best practices in solution architecture and design. • Ability to oversee the evaluation of alternative architecture approaches, and formalize highlight strengths, limitations, costs and benefits. • Experience implementing automated build and testing processes/methodologies such as Continuous Integration using tools like CruiseControl.Net and TFS. • Experience implementing change management procedures through the full software development life cycle (dev-test-QA-stage-prod). • Experience implementing source control design leveraging code branching and merging functions. • Experience in formal SDLC documentation and best practices. • Ability to oversee the authoring of system architecture, technical design and bottom-up estimate documentation in multiple projects. • Experience delivering external-facing websites using web content management systems. • Ability for easily form good working relationships with people. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Tenacity to complete tasks. • Proven ability to keep current with emerging architectural solutions, technologies and W3C standards. • Ability to participate in virtual teams using communication tools like instant messaging, conference calls, and collaborative team portals.Interested candidates can send their resumes directly to saili.karpe@modisit.com Phone: 949-885-1823 Company: Modis, Inc.
