Web Content Administrator/Copywriter

Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) is seeking a Web Content Administrator for its exciting eBusiness division. The Company is seeking a qualified individual who enjoys combining their journalism/copywriting skills with the delivery and publication of content to the Internet. This individual will have a unique opportunity to help shape KFB's public representation on the Internet

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title:  Web Content Administrator/Copywriter

Reports to: eBusiness Specialist

Department: Information Technology

Section:    IT eBusiness and Architecture

Job Status: Exempt

 

JOB SUMMARY 

The Web Content Administrator/Copywriter will be responsible for developing, editing and executing highly effective copy and graphical content for internal and external web sites. Candidate will act as liaison between various departments to ensure consistent content and branding in order to present unified and useful web sites to customers. Candidate will support and adhere to automated workflow policies and standards for content approval to ensure content integrity.  A working knowledge of several of the following are required, graphic design or a related field, web site management (including HTML and SEO optimization), web site structures, and web related software.


 

QUALIFICATIONS

·  BA or BS in Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field.

·  Must have 2-3 years of experience with creating, updating and maintaining Web content.

·  Proficiency with PC based environment in all Microsoft office products, HTML, Dreamweaver, and an image editing product.
