VoIP Security Engineer
6 (+) month contract in Washington D.C.
Client is looking for the following:
Requires strong data networking (Cisco & Nortel) and VoIP-to-the-desktop experience.
Requires extensive VoIP security experience
Must be able to interface with client “expert” in VoIP (client has PhD in VoIP Security)
Working knowledge of Nortel PBX (CS1000) and Class 5 switching (DMS100 & CS2100) are a plus.
Assists the Impl. Manager in constructing the TMP production system.
Reviews supplier requirements, provisions adjunct servers to house applications.
Works with SAA and Verizon resources to develop production processes, and with suppliers to complete system documentation.
Assists DPM in meeting testing requirements.
Backs up the Implementation Engineer.
Tunes the system hardware and software components to ensure the system is functioning properly.
Perform system administration and maintenance tasks in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Monitor system error logs, system security logs, and other application logs.
