VP, Sales & Marketing

 

COMPANY PROFILE: Small-sized technology systems integrator, who provides information technology solutions for enterprise-level customers, located in NJ.

 

PURPOSE OF POSITION:  Provide strategic leadership, direction, and management of company sales and marketing functions. Responsible for the development of  annual sales and marketing plans, and the establishment of overall sales and marketing objectives. Staffs and directs the sales and marketing teams, providing leadership and direction to enable the company to achieve its sales and profit objectives.

 

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

· Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.

· Minimum of 5-10 years exp. in a senior sales management position.

· Minimum of 3 years experience in a key marketing role.

· Experience within the IT consulting industry is preferred.

· The ideal candidate will have measured success in taking a business from expansion-stage to high growth stage.

· The ideal candidate will have a broad network of industry and customer contacts/relationships.

· Strong leadership, teambuilding, and collaboration skills.

· Charismatic leader and effective motivator, with a high degree of energy.

· Excellent presentation, oral & written communication skills.

· Ability to influence and persuade others who do not report directly.
