User Interface Design (Graphics) Position in Andover, MA

ProcureStaff Ltd., a division of Volt Information Sciences Inc., is currently looking to staff a User Interface Design (Graphics) Engineer position at our site in Andover, MA.Position Overview:Create user interface designs for Telepresence Applications and High-End Audio/Video conferencing products (embedded stand-alone systems and on windows operating systems). Responsibilities for this position include: Participate in brainstorming on design ideas with product management, marketing and engineering teams. Rapidly create prototype interfaces for user testing and validation Design interaction flow charts, use cases, wire frames and document specs  Create Basic Style guides content list and help define UI strategy for Telepresence & Vertical Market Solutions   Design interactions and widget flow.  Design and run usability studies and implement improvements based on observations & feedback.   Design and deliver product graphics (including icons and GUI skins) that satisfy product user experience requirements QualificationsBS/BA or equivalentProven experience in UI Design Must be an innovative Graphic Designer/User-Interface Engineer and apply visual creativity & functional experience to design elegant high end user interface that will be used by C-Level Executives. Possesses a strong visual design sense and general design principles In-depth understanding of Adobe Suite of Tools, Macromedia Director, Freehand, Flash Professional, Dream weaver, Fireworks, source control & bug tracking software.   Must have the ability to illustrate graphics for use on VGA type displays with interactive touch Panel.   Proven ability to design and deliver GUI skins/themes for professional business applications running on Windows & embedded systems (stand alone) is strongly preferred. Must provide sample work and portfolio. Familiarity with audio/video multimedia and 2D/3D graphics frameworks is a plus. Hands on experience applying Human Interface guidelines, Accessibility standards, and Internationalization & Localization frameworks.
